ENSSURE conducts pre-proposal conference for training providers
Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) organized a pre-bid meeting for the training providers on 25 August 2017. The training providers have been to submit the proposal on Short Training Courses.
During the programme, deputy project manager and deputy director of CTEVT Training Division Kushmakar Bhatta provided some introduction of Enhanced Sustainable Skills for Rewarding Employment (ENSSURE) project to the training providers and their consortium partners. It also shared information regarding steps and requirements to submit the Request for Proposal on short course training.
There are 11 training providers for Professional Cook Training and 11 for Professional Building Electrician Training selected. Most of the training providers are curious about the On-the-Job (OJT) aspect of the training.
The OJT will be 12 weeks long. The OJT will be conducted after the institution-based training of 28 weeks. While answering the queries, Subas Subedi, ENSSURE programme support unit’s team leader said that this training modality was a step ahead of the prevalent form of training of 390 hours.
