Training for Teachers on Career Guidance Delivery Conducted

The 7-day training for 34 teachers of 18 schools began in Biratnagar on 17 October 2019.
The training is being conducted under the Career Guidance component of ENSSURE with the main objective of preparing the teachers as the Career Guidance Teachers enabling them to deliver career guidance sessions for grade IX students in their respective schools.
Speaking at the opening, Triyuga Municipality Mayor Baladev Chaudhary expressed that the Career Guidance program supports realizing the national motto of “Prosperous Nepal; Happy Nepali”.
Kankai Municipality Mayor Rajendra Kumar Pokharel, Duhabi Municipality Deputy Mayor Sunita Dahal, Biratnagar Sub-Metropolitan City’s Education Unit Chief Durga Prasad Khatiwada and Head Teacher of Janapath Secondary School, Biratnagar Hari Prasad Parajuli wished for the teachers to complete the training successfully.
The speakers also agreed to cooperate with stakeholders for the effective implementation of the program.
Earlier, Kanchan Tamang Lama, the Quality Assurance Specialist of ENSSURE thanked and welcomed the teachers and the other guests. He also shared the objective of the training.
ENSSURE’s implementing partner of the component ANTARANG Psychosocial Research and Training Institute, Kathmandu is facilitating the training.
